First Excursion to Marina Square

Me, RY, Beck, Pris brought baby Myles and Bethany on their first excursion to Marina Square yesterday. We realised it was not as easy a task as we had imagined. Pram, diapers, change of clothing, water bottle, blanket, pullover became outdoor necessities. Pram folding and handling up and down the escalator are skills all mothers and helpers need to master.

Gone are the days where we gals just focus on our shopping, the babies come first now and we shopped at Mothercare and Fox Baby instead. We asked for extra space for pram parking in restaurants we dined in and had to consider baby safety when positioning the prams. Frequent breastfeeding calls became a norm. Nursing station stopover can take ages depending on the babies' drinking speed...Haha...Topics surrounded the babies and their needs. In the end, the excursion became more of a makan trip than shopping trip because the mummies felt hungry after the feed.

Well, life has definitely changed for the mothers in our midst and the gfs around them. But it's all worth it for the lovely babies.....
