Give it your best SHOT!

As i was preparing to write this blog in view of today's V day - i wanted to enclosed the scripture that was shared that very day of my wedding. And goodness me, i actually forgot where it came from - only remembering that it was something along the way that 2 is better than 1. I wanted to "redeem" my sin by searching the internet for the bible verses.



Strangely, i remembered others' scriptures and their sermons on their wedding - i remembered LM's distinctively - drink water from your own well... and FT's sermon for their wedding... i remembered HL's one as well... and Eve's... but I CANNOT REMEMBER MINE!!!



I consoled myself by thinking that probably i did translation for some of them and that's probably the reason why I could remember theirs...i probably read their sermons and their scriptures a dozen of times for fear that i will be their joke on their wedding day if i screwed up.



It caught me thinking of how much of us ( me and jon lah) did i actually forget? It's been like 10 years since we're together - i started wanting to remember the milestones we journeyed together and the times that he has stood by me with his love and support. Have i taken him for granted - how in our daily lives, he has countless of times gave up more of himself for me and now Myles and me.



Yes, there were times where i really wanted to strangle him for being such a stuffed shirt - times where i felt that he could do much better but then, he has always been quicker in forgiving me, faster in lending his supportive hands and always ready to priorities our needs above his.



I read in an article in a magazine that if you were to write about your partner, you could tend to express your love for him more as your thoughts gets articulated via writing and you could tend to see things clearer. (not sure if you write all the nasty things, what will the effect though :P) Since this is a blog dedicated to couples



- i urge all of you on this special day to write something sweet about your partner as a celebration of love today! Well, attach a picture of your special someone and yourself and maybe it could be the best VDAY pressie for him/her ( i never buy pressie so this shall be mine to jon!)



To my hubby , friend and slave - Blessed V DAY and yes despite how my dirty paws irritates you especially on your side of the bed, i am still waiting for that carrot of mine! ;) Thanks for these 10 good years and we shall celebrate our 10th year with our little furry one and many more!
